don't have to have a UPC code either.
You can even make your copies on your computer!
You will have to make sure it's labeled and looks good.
Maybe better to get it professionally reproduced and labeled.
MusiciansFriend.com
offers a professionally CD copying service.
CDBaby Charges $35.00 to set up your account and
you need to give 5 CD to them for inventory to ship.
When they sell your CD with your price on it, they'll keep $4.00 and
send you a check for the difference. If you sell for $10.00,
they keep $4.00 you get $6.00. They send out money every week.

Article; How to get a UPC number
If you want to sell in your CD in retail stores your
going to run into the need for a UPC number. All products
now have a code so that the computers can track the sales.
Now you can buy just one UPC number at a time at a reasonable
price. I found www.buyabarcode.com offered a UPC number one at a time.
Once you own the code it's yours for ever. You can reproduce
the UPC label on your own printer, as long as you use 300dpi
or higher. Check out the web site, it looks like a good
service for someone trying to sell one or 2 CDs.
Go to BuyABarCode.com
for more info.
